Different Rental Options for Portable Restrooms

There are a few standard types of portable restrooms available. At AYS, we carry a wide selection of different rental options for portable restrooms and toilets, to make it as convenient as possible for our customers. Of course, the standard options are often more popular than others, depending on the need, and you will definitely recognize them, such as the standard portable toilet stalls, with or without a urinal, but there may be a few options you weren’t aware of such as portable pump sinks or the stand-alone “whizinator” urinals. Below are all of the types of portable restrooms and accessories we currently carry at AYS:

  • Urinals - We have both traditional trough units, and new "whizinators" that can stand outside while still offering necessary privacy.
  • Sinks - While not complete restroom options, they are a nice complementary option that offers a nicety to your guests that they may not otherwise have; the ability to wash their hands with running water.
  • “Handi-Stands” - These are lightweight standalone hand sanitizer dispensers and are easy to re-position around your site or event. Each unit has 4 dispensers of water-less hand sanitizer. They are a great option for winter months where freezing temperatures might be a concern.
  • Construction - These standard sized porta potties are available in fluorescent orange, blue, or forest green with toilets and urinals. All our units meet - or exceed - OSHA and ANSI standards.
  • Special Event - Our special event units may include features such as Mirrors, Convenience Shelving, Coat Hooks, Hand Sanitizer, and/or many other convenient accommodations for your guests.
  • High Rise - These units are specially made units for use in high rise construction with special hoisting rigs for lifting them into tall buildings still being built. Full units are made to be weather resilient while half units are made for hard to reach spaces.
  • VIP Trailers - Our amazingly clean and extremely comfortable VIP trailers are designed to make you feel at home by offering all the amenities of a regular restroom with the convenience of being portable to your out of the way site.

How Much Does a Porta Potty Cost?

The cost of a portable restroom varies widely based on many factors. Some of these factors include geographic region, service frequency, and site accessibility. In some major metropolitan areas, prices can range from between $260 for a restroom with twice-weekly service to $175 for once a week service.

Here in Oklahoma, you can expect to pay a lot lower prices than those major metropolitan areas. Here, on average, you can expect to pay something closer to the following amounts:

  • $75-$100 per month for a Standard Portable Toilet with once a week service
  • $100-$125 per month for a Handicap Accessible Toilet
  • $50-$80 per weekend for a Special Event Unit
  • $700 - $1,800 per weekend for a VIP Luxury Trailer

Our pricing varies on relative location to other services, duration of the rental term, required services per week. We also offer additional options for most of our restrooms - hand sanitizer, stakes to keep the unit in place, scent discs, etc. You can get our exact prices by contacting us today so we can quote your exact needs.

How Can I Rent a Porta Potty?

When you’re ready to rent a porta potty, you only need to contact the company you want to rent from (reach us here) and let them know what you’re looking for. Information you’ll need:

  1. Dates of the rental (different dates can mean higher demand)
  2. How many porta potties you think you’ll need (or ask for their opinion based on your event or construction site size)
  3. Types of porta potties you’d like to rent (will you need handicap stalls, for instance)
  4. Address for where the restroom(s) will be placed

They’ll ask you a few more questions about things like cleaning and maintenance intervals, especially if you’re keeping the units for a longer period of time or they will be heavily used. At this point, they should be able to get you a customized quote for your porta potty rental. From here, you can choose to contact another company to get another price quote or accept the quote the company has given you. Once accepted, the company and you will work out details about transportation and any other fees. Then you just follow their instructions to get your porta potty rental on time and on-site.

AYS offers many cleaning and maintenance schedules for our units, regardless of what option you choose, and we have a wide variety of types of portable restrooms so you can select the right option for your purpose. So, if you don’t need a full standard stall, you can get a free-standing urinal. If you would rather have a luxurious “VIPee” treatment complete with electricity and flushing toilets, you can order one of our portable restroom trailers. Just let us know. Our business is your business.
